Welcome to The Little Red Barn, my pride and joy and a lifelong dream. My love for design, crafts, and building things has stemmed from my father being a successful builder and my mother, a very talented crafter. It was inevitable that I would in some way, shape, or form bring the skills I learned from them (and those before them) with me into my adult years. Through college, I created hand crafted jewelry in my free time to make a little extra spending money. It was at this point that I realized the true possibility of my dreams and that people really do love one-of-a-kind art, knick-knacks, and hand crafted goods. Apart from The Little Red Barn, I am a full-time landscape designer. The slower winter months allow me the opportunity to focus on diving into my creations and being able to share them with all of you. Over the last few years, my love for the farm has only grown stronger. As a child in the suburbs, I would daydream and spend my free time drawing horses and designing barns. Even after traveling the world and seeing all that this beautiful Earth has to offer, the country and vast farmland still steal my heart. The sounds of birds chirping, tractors in the fields, and cows moo-ing have encompassed my life and I cannot imagine it any other way. I consistently find myself running outside at dawn/dusk to take the perfect photo of the sun on the horizon which only gets better at each passing moment. When out running errands, it is difficult to pass a barn on the side of the road (photos are a must!) and not be in awe of the beauty it provides, even if old and dilapidated. These structures and farmsteads hold decades of history and ultimately, have stood the test of time. The Little Red Barn is just that. The opportunity to take the skills and creativity I have learned over my life time as well as the struggles I've faced and share them for many years to come. To help paint a picture of my life and those before me as I would not be anywhere I am today without all of the history prior to my being. It is a symbol for having a dream and never giving up, regardless of the trials and tribulations you may have faced.

Welcome to my journey and I look forward to sharing a piece of it with you!
